The Procession
Sunday 17th July. Starts from Sandford Lane (By the railway
station) and goes through the town to the quay.
We ask for entrants to be there by 1pm and the judging will
begin 1:30 and 2pm. The procession then sets off at 3pm. The
first part of the procession crosses over the main roundabout
in Wareham and we do ask that if your group will be performing
i.e. dance routine in the middle of the road etc, to not start
a routine until they are at the bottom of the hill leading into
the town so that we don't close the bypass for to long!
At this early stage of designing your float please be aware
that the procession can happen in any kind of weather (wet or
very hot) so please make sure your float will be able to withstand
these extremes!
